Nell Hoess, BA Hons Contemporary Dance, has been practicing Pilates and Yoga since 1992 and Insight Meditation since 2018.
She has been teaching since 2000. She has a BA Hons in Contemporary Dance, a Diploma in Pilates Movement Therapy, a Diploma in Pilates Instruction, Cert IV in Training and Assessment and has Teacher Training Certificates in Forrest Yoga, Baptiste Power Yoga and BodyMindLife Vinyasa Yoga.
Nell's passion is teaching teachers and assisting clients out of pain-cycles, through movement. She is currently studying to be a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.

You can try changing the video speed in your RUclips settings to make it play slower. I don’t mind pausing videos while I set up but everyone is different. Thanks for your feedback though.
Hello Nell Iam very happy that I saw your workout .I have question, I have balanced body Allegro equipment and there is red blue and yellow colour and two rows . Can you defıne for me when you say 2 or 2and 1/2 OR 3/4 how should I have to use these strengts? Thanks
in my videos 1 spring = full strength spring. 1/2 spring = medium tension 1/4 spring = lightest tension. So when I say 2 springs that = 2 strong springs. When i say 3/4 spring that = 1 medium plus 1 light spring. I hope that helps!
Too fast between movements as there is not enough time to set up. Not enough info on feet and body position BEFORE commencing the movement. I know it is not for beginners but some modification options would be great Tough workout and I enjoyed it
Thanks for your comment Robyn, at the end of it you say your enjoyed the workout so thats fantastic! When I practice this workout I pause the video and set myself up etc then resume playing it. Your can also slow your videos down in your RUclips settings. All the best.

what springs are you using on the bed?
All reformers are different. In my videos 1 spring = your heaviest (strongest) spring. 1/2 spring = your medium tension spring. 1/4 = your lightest spring. Hope that helps

Using a balanced body reformer what springs ?
In my videos 1 spring = your heaviest. 1/2 spring = your medium strength spring. 1/4 spring = your lightest. So when I say 2 springs in. the video that = 2 heavy springs. When I say 3/4 that = 1 medium plus 1 light. I hope that hepls.

Pilates isn’t a fast exercise unless you’re doing cardio need to slow down especially since this is four level one very disappointed in this video
Thankyou for your feedback Bobby. Yes I agree Pilates is not cardio nor is this video meant to be. I agree some could find this fast, so what I do is pause the video and finish the reps or exercise then resume again. This was the first video I ever made, I’m a pilates instructor not a video producer so Thankyou for your understanding! I have a slip disc on my back bone can I do this reformer pilates?
It depends at what stage you’re at with your slipped disc. If it is at the acute stage, then no. It’s best you see a trained professional in person for a specific program designed for you. I have a herniated disk but I did it a long time ago and can do this workout, so it just depends.
May I know what are the springs please that u put in each mvt ?
1 spring in my videos = 1 strong tension 1/2 in my vids = 1 medium tension 1/4 in my vids = 1 light So for example when I say 1 3/4 springs that means 1 strong, 1 medium and 1 light. Hope that helps
